Prefer to draw it yourself? Grab one of our clean, original templates — same column structure the tool expects, so you can run it through the chart generator later.
Employee list with the exact columns the tool imports: ID, name, title, department, manager ID.
A one-page starter org chart with native, editable shapes you can rearrange in PowerPoint.
A fill-in policy page: role, reporting line, and department table for your employee handbook.
How it works
- 1 · Import
Upload a CSV or .xlsx, or paste a table straight from Excel. Leading zeros and quoted names are handled.
- 2 · Confirm columns
We map your headers to name / title / department / manager and remember your choices.
- 3 · Fix what's wrong
Duplicates, cycles, missing managers, ambiguous names — each reported with row numbers, never auto-guessed.
- 4 · Download PPTX
A reconciled export: imported people = charted people = exported people, or the download is blocked.
Frequently asked questions
Is the exported file a real, editable PowerPoint?›
Yes. Every box is a native PowerPoint shape with editable text and every connector is a native line — not a screenshot or a flattened picture. Open it in PowerPoint (recommended), Keynote, or WPS and edit any name directly.
Do I need an account?›
No. There is no sign-up, no workspace to create, and no subscription. Import your list, fix the issues it reports, download the file — done.
My employee list has errors. Will the tool guess?›
Never. Duplicate IDs, missing managers, self-reporting, reporting cycles, and ambiguous names are each reported with the exact row number and a suggested fix. Nothing is silently merged, dropped, or auto-attached. You decide.
Which formats can I import?›
CSV files, tables pasted straight from Excel, and single-sheet .xlsx workbooks. Leading zeros in employee IDs are preserved, quoted commas in names are handled, and formulas are never executed.
How large can my organization be?›
Up to 100 people with a single, solid-line reporting structure in this version. Larger lists are clearly rejected rather than partially drawn. The chart paginates automatically: a management overview first, then one team page per senior manager.
Can I drag boxes around in the PowerPoint?›
You can move or restyle anything — it is a normal PowerPoint file. What we do not promise is automatic re-layout after you drag a box, and the chart is not a SmartArt object.
